If you live in Southern California (more specifically the Hollywood area), you might want to check this out:

Click on the link there to the show ads. Unfortunately the first descriptive sentence has the usual misinformation that so permeates and misrepresents this case, i.e., it wasn’t an axe and Lizzie was acquitted.
“The Trial of Lizzie Borden” plays for a month – so you have time.
If I’m in Long Beach, CA visiting my brand new, simply adorable grandson while it still has its run, I’ll probably go see it.
And as a special note – any mention of the Borden case associated with a website called ZombieJoes captures my attention. Lizzie has yet to be resurrected as a vampire, but I’m sure that’s coming.

Thanks for the Lizzie Borden post on your site! ZJU Theater is packing them in to see ‘The Trial of Lizzie Borden’. The graphic ax (not axe) flashbacks are sure to jolt the audience between the trial scenes. As a side note it was sad to hear the “40 Whacks Museum” in Salem closed in January of 2011. Let me know if you would like some pictures of the storefront. They were a Salem Massachusetts Haunted Happening for several years.
